Maria Cristina Pescante joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Italy in 2003 as a technical/administrative officer in the health area and then, over the years, held the position of administrative/accounting expert, technical administrative officer and head of section I of office XII.
From 2007 to 2011, Maria Cristina worked as an administrative accounting expert in Maputo, coming into contact with the local context and communities.
From October 2020 to December 2023 she held the role of Deputy Head of the AICS Office in Khartoum supporting the Director of the Office in coordinating and supervising the administrative management of the office.
Throughout her 20 years of experience in international cooperation Maria Cristina has always championed the importance of an environment that stimulates collaboration and sharing of expertise within the team, ensuring that each person plays a key role in achieving collective success.
Maria Cristina is enthusiastic about embarking on this new work experience that will surely be a stimulus for personal and professional growth.
