The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Maputo has opened a call for proposals for interventions to be implemented in Sofala and Manica provinces in favor of the populations most affected by the effects of Cyclone Idai.
Identified priorities are: housing, educational services, health services. Gender equality is identified as a cross-cutting priority.
In the first phase, participants are required to send the concept note; subsequently, pre-selected participants will be invited to submit the complete application.
Deadline for concept note submission is 06/12/2019.

In the context of the project “Disability: Education, Work and Information and Communication Technologies” (AID 11460), 11, 12 and 13th November 2019, a hackaton is organized at E. Mondlane University in Maputo. The event is organized by AIFO CSO together with E. Mondlane University, the objective being giving young developers the possibility to create and develop innovative digital solutions (apps or websites) for some of the challenges faced by people with disabilities.
